Share an episode

Share a link to an episode.

Click Share in an episode’s menu in the podcast’s episode list, or the share icon in the editor. The Share this episode dialog works for draft, scheduled, and published episodes.

A published episode on a public podcast links to its page on your podcast website, where anyone can watch or listen, and the dialog also shows embed code.

For every other episode, set Access, to the right of Share Link. Private, the default, opens the episode in the Studio, so only workspace members can listen. Public lets anyone with the link watch or listen on a Jellypod share page, with no account, even before publishing or in a private podcast. Audio and video versions follow the same rules.

What viewers play

Before publishing, a Public link plays your latest saved draft, labelled Draft. After publishing, it plays the published version, and saved edits stay in the Studio until you update the episode. On a private podcast, sharing a published episode does not add it to a website, RSS feed, or podcast app.

Switching Access back to Private stops the link immediately. It cannot retract files already downloaded or sent to podcast apps.
