Voice Library
Find a voice for your next Character.
The Voice Library lists 3,300+ professional Voices across 121 languages for your Characters. Each Voice is tuned to one language and accent, so filter by the language of your content; see Languages and accents.
Open the Voice Library
Click Voices in the Studio sidebar. The library also appears in the Voice step when you create a character manually, or edit one and choose Voice Library as the Voice type.
To use your own voice instead, click Create Voice Clone at the top of the Voices page (Voice cloning).
Browse the Voices page
The page starts on your language with your accent first:
- Top voices for you: six hosts, narrators and presenters in your language. Press the avatar to hear a Voice, or anywhere else on the card to start a Character with it.
- Hand-Curated Voice Collections: sets such as Warm co-hosts and Authoritative anchors, with up to ten Voices per language. An open collection shows one language at a time; the picker beside its search switches it.
- Browse: pick a language at the top right to see a tile for each accent it is spoken in, grouped by country. English also lists second-language accents, such as “English (French)”.
Click a collection or accent to open its Voices, and click it again or the x to close it. The page address records what is open, so you can bookmark or share it.
Search and filter
Search matches Voice descriptions and summaries, languages, accents and tags, such as “conversational”, “meditation” or “British”. Languages also match by their own name, such as “español”. Search combines with the Language and Accent pickers, the format chips under the search bar, and Filters, which holds Style, Gender and Favorites only (and, on a phone, Language and Accent).
Searching or filtering replaces Browse with the matching Voices. Click Clear all to go back.
Preview, select and favorite
Click a Voice’s avatar to hear a sample, or Use voice to start a new Character with it. In a Character’s Voice step, click anywhere on a row to select it. Click the heart to save a Voice to your account’s favorites.
After a preview, thumbs up and thumbs down buttons appear beside the name; a thumbs down asks what sounded off.
Sort order
Favorites come first, then Voices in your browser’s language, then the rest. For languages split into regional accents, your country picks the accent when it agrees with your browser’s language, such as American English for a US browser. Otherwise the library uses your browser’s language tag for the accent, then no accent preference.
