Analytics

See who listens to your podcast.

Analytics count plays for one podcast at a time, on its Analytics tab, once you publish and distribute it. To compare podcasts, Videos, Shorts, and Channels on one page, use Insights.

Turn on analytics

On the Analytics tab, click Enable Analytics, or turn on Analytics in the podcast’s Advanced settings. Plays are counted through tracked audio links in your RSS feed, so turn analytics on before you promote a show. A Private podcast serves no feed, so it gets no RSS plays.

Turning analytics on starts the first sync right away, and the tab reads “Analytics are syncing” until it finishes. After that, analytics sync every 12 hours. If a sync is delayed, the last numbers stay visible with a delay notice.

What each card shows

Audio downloads and video plays both count as plays. In the Podcasts library, the plays pill on a podcast card shows its all-time plays, and the pill on a network card adds up its member podcasts that have analytics on.

Card What it shows
Summary Total Plays, Last 30 days, Last 7 days, and Top country
Plays Over Time Daily plays, last 90 days by default
Top Countries Your 10 biggest countries, by month
Top Apps Share of plays by app. Video plays on your Jellypod website appear as Jellypod
Top Devices and Top Browsers Share of plays by device type and browser
Top Episodes Plays per published episode for First Day, First 7 Days, First 30 Days, First 90 Days, and All Time, from each publish date

Only the last 90 days of video plays are counted, so Total Plays (all-time audio downloads plus those video plays) can drop as older video plays age out. The footnote under the table says 100 days, but the count uses 90.

Share a stats card

On Plays Over Time, click Share Stats, pick Square (1:1), Portrait (9:16), or Landscape (16:9), then click Download or Share. If sharing fails, download instead.

If the tab shows Error loading analytics, try again later or contact support.
