Educator plan
Six free months of the Educator plan for teachers and faculty.
Teachers and faculty get six free months of the Educator plan, with 3,000 credits each month. It’s the one plan not offered on the pricing page or in subscription settings, and each organization can use it once.
Activate the plan
Pick Educator / Faculty as your role during sign-up. With an eligible school email, click Activate free education plan. The plan starts immediately, with no credit card.
Who qualifies

If you don’t qualify, choose Skip and continue at the plan step (if shown) to start on Free, or choose a plan or start the free trial if you’re eligible.
Institutional domains that aren’t obviously academic are screened automatically. A business, a for-profit company that sells education (test prep, tutoring, bootcamps, ed-tech vendors), or a public body that isn’t a school (health authority or hospital, council, ministry or agency, police, public library or museum) is declined immediately, with no manual review.
A domain that can’t be identified either way is held for review, with no promised reply time. Meanwhile you can create on Free, or start an eligible trial or subscription to render, download, and get more credits. Once support confirms your school, your organization switches to Educator. What’s included
Educator has Starter’s limits with 3,000 monthly credits, and includes credit top-ups. It doesn’t include platform distribution, custom watermarks and logos, Jellypod branding removal, or custom domains. The full comparison is in Plan limits, and costs are in Understanding credits.
Upgrading during your Educator offer
If you upgrade to a paid plan, you keep your 3,000 Educator credits each month alongside the paid plan’s credits until the offer ends. On Starter’s 5,000, for example, you get 8,000 credits a month while both are active. Upgrading doesn’t extend the offer or change when its credits renew.
When the six months end
The plan expires six months after activation. If you’ve upgraded, your paid plan and its credits continue. Otherwise, the organization needs a subscription to keep creating and publishing (see Manage your subscription). Organizations that activated under an earlier term keep the expiry date they were given.
