A Workflow is a guided start for one job, such as turning a PDF into a podcast Episode. It asks for the thing you already have first, then the few settings that job needs, and creates through the same path as the Home composer. To make content on a schedule or from email instead, use [Automations](/automations).

## Open a Workflow

- Click Workflows in the Studio sidebar to see every Workflow. Filter by Videos, Shorts or Podcasts, or search by name.
- On Home, the Start from chips under the composer list Workflows for the selected mode. All Workflows opens the full list.
- In Videos, Create Video lists the video Workflows.

## Available Workflows

| Workflow | You bring | You get |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Audio to Video | A voice recording | A captioned Video with matching visuals. A recording under 3 minutes makes a Short. |
| Script to Video | A script | A Video your Hosts voice word for word |
| Slides or PDF to Voiceover Video | Slides or a PDF | A [Voiceover](/voiceovers) that narrates each slide or page |
| Article to Short | An article link | A vertical Short of the article's key points |
| Idea to Short | A topic | A vertical Short on that topic |
| Idea to Video | A topic | A landscape Video on that topic |
| Script to Podcast | A script | A podcast Episode voiced word for word. See [use your own script](/podcasts-and-episodes/use-your-own-script). |
| PDF to Podcast | A PDF | A podcast Episode where your Hosts talk through the document |
| Article to Podcast | An article link | A podcast Episode where your Hosts discuss the article |

## Create from a Workflow

1. Open the Workflow and add your recording, script, files, link or idea in step 1. The create button waits until it is in.
2. Fill in the numbered steps, such as the Podcast the Episode joins, the Hosts and length, or the visual style and format.
3. Optionally open Advanced to fine-tune the result. The defaults work well.
4. Check the summary and [credit](/getting-started/understanding-credits) estimate at the bottom, then click the create button, such as Create Episode or Create Short.

Results land in your [Podcasts](/podcasts-and-episodes) or [Videos](/video-library-and-sharing) library, like anything made from Home. A Workflow opened from a Series in Videos keeps the new Video in that Series.
