title: Embed the player
description: Embed your podcast player on any website.
---

The embed player puts your podcast on any site that accepts HTML, such as WordPress, Squarespace, Notion, Webflow, or Ghost, alongside your own [podcast website and feed](/publishing-and-distribution).

## Get the embed code

1. Open your podcast in the Studio and click Embed Player (the code icon).
2. Pick a Theme and a Size: Full (player with episode list) or Compact (player only).
3. Click Copy code and paste it into your site.

The code uses your custom domain if you have one, otherwise your `jellypod.com` subdomain, and starts on your latest episode. A [Private podcast](/publishing-and-distribution/podcast-visibility) cannot be embedded; its embed URL returns not found.

To embed one published episode, use its [Share dialog](/publishing-and-distribution/sharing-episodes), which always gives the Compact player.

## Set the theme and colors [#themes]

The 8 themes are Light, Dark, Black, Slate, Red, Green, Blue, and Yellow. To set one in the URL, add `theme=` with the lowercase name, such as `theme=dark`. Add `version=compact` for the Compact player.

To match your brand exactly, add color parameters with hex values, with or without `#`:

| Parameter | Colors |
| --- | --- |
| `primary_color` | Text and icons |
| `secondary_color` | Secondary and muted elements |
| `tertiary_color` | Accents |
| `background_color` | Player background |

```
https://your-podcast.jellypod.com/embed?primary_color=ffffff&background_color=1a1a2e
```

The player shows Jellypod branding on some plans, with no per-embed toggle. See [remove Jellypod branding](/publishing-and-distribution/your-podcast-website#remove-jellypod-branding).
