description: Organize the episodes in a podcast.
---

Every [AI Podcasts](/podcasts-and-episodes) Episode belongs to one Podcast and is managed from the episodes table on the Podcast's page.

## Find and sort episodes

Search filters by title and description. Click the Episodes (title), Status or Date header to sort; click again for descending, and a third time for the default order. The default is by date, oldest first for Serial Podcasts and newest first for Episodic ones.

A generating Episode's row shows live progress and doesn't open the editor. Clicking a failed Episode opens a retry dialog; see [Episode generation failed](/podcasts-and-episodes/episode-generation-failed). [Episode statuses](/podcasts-and-episodes/episode-statuses) explains each badge.

## Duplicate an episode

Open the row's three-dot menu and choose Duplicate Episode. The copy, in any status, is a new Draft titled "(Copy)" followed by the original title.

- Copied: description, script, Hosts, Sources, cover art and video template.
- Not copied: generated audio, timeline, and publish status, date or schedule. Generate audio again for the copy.

[Uploaded episodes](/podcasts-and-episodes/uploading-your-own-episode) can't be duplicated.

## Move an episode to another podcast

Open the Episode's three-dot menu, on the Podcast page or the Episode page, choose Transfer Episode, pick the destination Podcast and confirm. The move is immediate and only changes which Podcast owns the Episode. The destination must be another Podcast in your organization.

## Delete an episode

Open the Episode's three-dot menu, choose Delete Episode and confirm.

:::danger
Deleting is permanent and stops any generation still running. To take an Episode off your feed and website but keep it, [unpublish it](/publishing-and-distribution/publishing-an-episode#unpublish-an-episode).
